Coral aloe (Aloe striata) is a small, stemless succulent native to South Africa that forms rosettes of broad, flat leaves and produces coral-red flowers in late winter to early spring. The leaves are pale gray-green with dark, narrow lines running lengthwise and toothless, pale reddish margins. The color of the leaves varies depending on the amount of sunlight, with hot, full sun producing pinkish foliage and more shaded areas producing bluish-green foliage
